RAWALPINDI, Apr 19 (APP):Provincial Minister for Education Rana Sikandar Hayat chaired a meeting at PECTA Islamabad to review the educational performance of districts in Rawalpindi division.
Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of District Education Authorities from all districts of the division presented detailed briefings on academic performance and ongoing initiatives.
District Education Authority (DEA) Rawalpindi chief , Muhammad Yaseen Khan Baloch highlighted progress on missing facilities, Annual Development Programme (ADP) schemes and enrolment in the district.
He also briefed the meeting on steps being taken under the district education authority to improve education standards.
The provincial minister appreciated the efforts of the Rawalpindi team and commended the initiatives undertaken under the leadership of Muhammad Yaseen Khan Baloch.
He reiterated the government’s commitment to accelerate reforms and development projects in the education sector to ensure provision of quality education to every child.
The meeting concluded with a consensus on adopting a coordinated strategy for further improvement in the education sector across the division.
